"Shabbos Chazon Ish" Declared for Shabbos Lech Lecha

Per the consensus of gedolei Yisroel, the upcoming Shabbos, Parshas Lech Lecha, has been proclaimed as "Shabbos Chazon Ish - Shabbos Avi Ezri."
The bnei Torah public for the past fifty years has dedicated this special Shabbos to the Chazon Ish and, since his passing, to [the author of] Avi Ezri, HaRav Elozor Menachem Shach, who established and built up the Torah world in Eretz Yisroel and abroad. All Torah communities throughout the world are guided by their light and their teachings.
As had been made public each year through Degel HaTorah, in recent years at the behest of HaRav Eliashiv zt"l, Shabbos Parshas Lech Lecha has been declared by the present Torah leadership to be devoted to the memories of the Chazon Ish and HaRav Shach; in all synagogues and batei midrash of the Torah world, here and in the Diaspora, community rabbonim and maggidei shiurim will highlight these great figures whose yahrtzeit falls in the coming week: The yahrtzeit of the Chazon Ish is 15 Marcheshvan and that of HaRav Shach is 16 Marcheshvan.
