Finance Minister Lapid Announces Budget Including a Series of Cuts Aimed at the Chareidi Community
On Wednesday the Finance Ministry and the Minister of Finance announced it proposal for the Arrangements Law that includes a series of immediate cuts aimed at services provided to the chareidi community.

There is no point in reviewing facts that are known to all regarding the insecure situation we find ourselves in wherever there are Jews, where we visually see lately the upsurge of anti-Semitism amongst non-Jews. Rashi says: This was the reply which the people gave him: "Go into your chambers - your batei midrash and batei knesses." And this is what all the rabbonim in your countries and communities must do, for only through fortifying ourselves in Torah study and mitzvah-observance will we be able to stand against all those who seek to do us harm and oppress us, as is written, "The voice is that of Yaakov." Only when Yaakov's voice is heard in the shuls and batei medrash are the hands of Eisov powerless.
"The Present Government is Built on Hatred Towards Everything and on Tyrannizing Chareidim"
"This is a government which has declared to the world at large, as well as to the Jewish people, that it harbors hatred towards chareidim. Suppressing and subjugating them is their ultimate goal. Their hatred has taken over their minds." With these very words, expressed by MK Rabbi Meir Porush on Monday in the Knesset, he presented his no-confidence bill in the name of the United Torah Jewry and Shas parties in light of the cruel decrees schemed by the Treasury Minister Yair Lapid, and the harsh clauses written into the coalition agreement aimed at smothering the chareidi public.
