Extensive and Intensive Preparations for the Siyum HaShas in Jerusalem

Members of the joint committee of Degel HaTorah and Agudath Israel in Jerusalem are laying the groundwork for the upcoming major event of the 12th cycle of the Daf Hayomi Siyum HaShas in Jerusalem which will take place on Tuesday, the 12th of Av, headed by maranan verabbonon, leaders of Torah and Chassidus. This is to take place a day later than the large siyum in Petach Tikvah, as we reported last week.
The event is scheduled to take place in a huge area set aside at the outskirts of Ramot Eshkol and Maalot Dafna, in the northern part of the city, capable of absorbing tens of thousands of participants. The municipality has already approved the location of the event, whose details will subsequently be worked out with the necessary people involved, including security forces and Ichud Hatzalah emergency medical personnel.
