"The Government Opposes Brutal Attacks Against the Chareidi Public"
By A. Rauchberger
"The government is opposed to inciting and assaulting the chareidi public," was the statement of Deputy Prime Minister Moshe Yaalon in the Knesset plenum on Monday, May 7th, when he replied to the bill of no-confidence presented by the Opposition before the dismissal of the Knesset.
Yaalon explained that his statement related to the attacks on the chareidi public, both on the subject of the draft and the integration of chareidim into the work market. He noted that the government operated on both fronts "without attacking the chareidim, without delegitimizing them but through cooperation with the chareidi sector. This is the way which we see in dealing with the problem and solving it. Not through bashing or alienation."
