Thousands Attend Rallies Throughout The Country Warning Of The Pitfalls Of Communications Technology

Thousands of avreichim and bnei yeshiva participated in chizuk rallies which took place within the framework of the bein hazmanim study programs throughout the country. Roshei yeshiva and rabbonim spoke about the danger and havoc caused by the technological devices which result in spiritual devastation to every single avreich and yeshiva student. They quoted the directives of the gedolei Yisroel banning the use of Internet and the obligation to steer clear of forbidden communications which causes the terrible spiritual degeneration of Jewish souls R"l.
Speaking at one rally, HaRav Boruch Mordechai Ezrachi said: "Part of the human reaction is to feel disgust at what is unseemly. One must feel revulsion towards these new [technological] devices." At another rally HaRav Yigal Rosen said: "One must declare an all-out war against these things." And HaRav David Cohen said: "One who succumbs to these completely forfeits his innate supremacy as man."
