Dozens of Hotels and Leisure Spots Adopt Rabbinical Committee Rules

By Yechiel Sever

At the completion of several weeks of feverish work the Rabbinical Committee for the Character of Vacation Sites made an impressive achievement by securing commitments from dozens of hotels and leisure facilities to implement the Rabbinical Committee's modesty regulations. These hotels received Committee approval and are able to display a certificate.

The modesty principles required by the Rabbinical Committee include removing television sets from hotel rooms, disconnecting wireless networks, setting up separate food bars for men and women, enforcing respectable attire among staff members, maintaining a complete overhang above the pool area and a series of other regulations to maximize modesty standards.
