Bnei Brak to Undergo Face-lift

By Y. Schwartz

Hundreds of millions of shekels will be invested in the City of Bnei Brak during the coming years in a massive municipality-sponsored project called Mitchadshim Letish'im as the city prepares to mark its 90th anniversary and 50 years since the passing of its founder, Rabbi Yitzchok Gerstenkorn.

The project, which began several months ago and is expected to change the cityscape, calls for upgrading and construction infrastructures, including roads, sidewalks, water and sewage lines, electricity, benches and public playgrounds.
