Conference of Elected Chareidi Politicians

By Betzalel Kahn

The Conference of Chareidi Elected Officials in Local Authorities opened Tuesday afternoon at the Nir Etzion Hotel.

Hundreds of elected officials around the country are taking part in the three-day event. The first of the twelve sessions began with introductory remarks by chareidi mayors and local council heads.

The following sessions will address various professional matters related to the day-to-day work in the local authorities.

The final session on Thursday afternoon, which is scheduled to draw ministers, MKs and the heads of the chareidi education networks, will address the status of the educational systems in the local authorities.

The conference is being sponsored by the Center for Local Government's Forum of Chareidi Authorities and organized by Malchut - Arutz Yashir.
