Abominable Event Scheduled to Take Place in Jerusalem

Chareidi Jewry and other segments of world Jewry are deeply
disturbed over plans for an abominable event to take place in
the holy city of Jerusalem — "the King's palace"
— this week. No event like it has ever taken place in
Jerusalem or in Am Yisroel.
Maranan verabonon have been voicing vigorous
opposition to the profane event, saying it threatens the
continued existence of Am Yisroel in Eretz
Hakodesh, calling on any people in a position to act to
do so (but of course not through violent or unseemly means).
Gedolei Yisroel instructed Eretz Yisroel
residents, as well as our brethren around the world, to
express their opposition to the authorities and to supplicate
Hashem to take pity on the Nation in Tzion and bring about
the cancellation of the detestable event.
Thousands took place in a demonstration last week at Kikar
Shabbat, led by gedolei Torah, rabbonim and
dayonim.
