Tender for Jerusalem-Bnei Brak Bus Line

The Transportation Ministry is set to issue a tender to
operate Line 422, the new express line between Jerusalem and
Bnei Brak. Both Egged and Dan will be ineligible to vie for
the tender, which is intended only for private bus companies
in order to create competition.
The decision to issue the tender for the new express line
stems from frequent glitches on Line 402, which connects the
two cities and is operated by Egged and Dan. Reportedly, the
402 lines is the busiest in Israel.
