Chaim LaYeled Finishes Construction of Hostel for Lung and Psoriasis Patients

By Yechiel Sever

Chaim LaYeled, which provides assistance for the treatment of cystic fibrosis and lung diseases, has completed the construction of a luxurious hostel on the shores of the Dead Sea and is currently providing the facility with equipment and interior furnishings.

The special building is located at the Dead Sea to ease the breathing difficulties these patients have to cope with. "Nobody can live without breathing," says a Chaim LaYeled spokesman, "but these patients battle over each and every breath."

Eretz Yisroel alone has 500 cystic fibrosis patients, along with people suffering from various other lung diseases. Chaim LaYeled was founded to help alleviate this tremendous suffering and has seen siyata deShmaya in improving and extending the lives of the patients and in helping their family members.
