Ne'eman A profound sense of personal loss can be felt these days in the offices of Yated Ne'eman. Elozor Menachem Man Shach, ztvk"l Yegias HaTorah Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Leibovitz heard from a talmid of his grandfather, Rav Boruch Ber zt"l, who had a chavrusa with Maran during the period that the latter got married. He told him that on the Rosh Yeshiva's wedding day, that talmid of his grandfather reasoned he would have some free time, for surely the chosson would be busy. However, the Rosh Yeshiva sat and learned with him until half an hour before his own chuppah. "Awaken, my dear brothers, and may we together be awakened!" Of particular note was an initiative taken to write a sefer Torah mehudar under the auspices of Yeshivas Knesses Yissochor. Bnei Torah all over the world will be able to buy a word or a line in the sefer Torah for a nominal sum.
