New Neighborhood in Beit Shemesh
by Yated Ne'eman Staff

The high-quality housing project for bnei Torah called Kiryat Avi Ezri, a neighborhood in Beit Shemesh dedicated to the holy memory of Maran Rosh Hayeshiva zt'l, has attracted wide interest among potential buyers.

Housing marketers in the chareidi sector, together with rabbonim and leading activists in Beit Shemesh, initiated the construction of the neighborhood to provide a viable solution for young couples, the bnei Torah public and parents marrying off their children. The new housing bloc is expected to bring thousands of bnei Torah, giving a tremendous boost toward developing the chareidi section of Beit Shemesh.

The neighborhood is to be headed by HaRav Meir Tzvi Bergman, rosh yeshivas Rashbi, who will be joined by the Rabbinical Committee whose members include HaRav Dovid Cohen, rosh yeshivas Chevron, HaRav Avrohom Yitzchok Hacohen Kook, rosh yeshivas Meor HaTalmud and HaRav Nosson Hacohen Kopshitz, mara d'asro of the Nacholoh Umenuchoh neighborhood.

The project's promoters have been visiting the homes of gedolei Yisroel to present them with detailed plans on the Avi Ezri neighborhood, and of the reduced prices and the many benefits given to bnei Torah apartment purchasers, stressing the fact that extensive grounds have been designated for public facilities and educational institutions.

Further details on the project and on registering for apartment purchase are scheduled to appear in newspaper ads. Sales offices will also open, allowing interested parties to see the construction plans in greater detail.
