Carpentry appeals to many who have free time during bein hazemanim or after yeshiva hours at home when it doesn't interfere with their learning sessions.

How to Overcome Social Pressure
by R. Chadshai

We discussed the good and bad sides of social pressure. In a positive society, this keeps us on our toes, and even if our motives are not always right, we conform until eventually, the right attitudes and habits become part of our personality and our strivings.

Furnishing the New Bayis Ne'eman
One Woman's Solution

An interview by Yonina Hall

Waxing Poetic
An Interview with Moshe Chaim Levy
by Reuven Freedman

Moshe Chaim Levy began fashioning his unique, and often comic, creations seven years ago for Safed Candles. Each piece is hand-molded, sculpted, and crafted by Moshe Chaim out of multicolored beeswax. Since every piece is hand made, NO molds are used, therefore each piece is different than the other. Even if they have the same theme (for example, "Fiddler on the Roof"), the facial expressions of the sculpture, the color and style and length of the hair and the coloring are not exactly the same. At the present, the sculptor has made over 50,000 separate pieces of art, each of which IS a candle.

BOOK REVIEW
A Wealth of Information

by Rosally Saltsman

I was fortunate to come upon a book that is a gold mine of information about money. It's called, WEALTH, A Torah Approach, by Rabbi Avraham Tzvi Schwartz with approbations by Rabbis Yechezkel Auerbach and Zev Leff, and Rabbi Nachman Bulman zt'l.

Your Medical Questions Answered!
by Joseph B. Leibman, MD

We want to speak a little about rearranging our sleep schedule and, with the summer well on the way and with many people traveling abroad, we should speak about "jet lag."

Food of the Month: AZUKI BEANS
By Dr. Reuven Bruner, Ph.D.

Beans, beans, the magical fruit, the more you eat the bigger your muscles get. This is an entirely accurate statement when talking about the azuki bean.
