Machon Hamechabrim To Help Authors

Machon Hamechabrim, a new institute granting author
stipends, opened during the week of parshas Vayechi.
The purpose of the institute, under the endorsement and
guidance of gedolei Yisroel, is to help lomdei
haTorah publish their chiddushim.
Machon Hamechabrim was founded in memory of HaRav Dovid
Povarski, HaRav Moshe Feinstein, HaRav Simcha Zissel Broide
and HaRav Yehuda Tzadka.
The Machon administration notes that scores of sizable
stipends will be granted to authors whose seforim
will be scrutinized by a special committee. Books should be
submitted in duplicate copies by the 25th of Shevat, the
yahrtzeit of HaRav Yisroel of Salant, founder of the
mussar movement. Books should be sent to POB 6639,
