Necca Total Has Non Bleach
by N. Katzin

Just in time for Pesach, Necca has launched a series of anti- bacterial products for house cleaning called "Necca Total," which do not contain bleach. Necca is Israel's leading company in the current worldwide switch to anti-bacterial products that do not contain bleach, a hazardous product that should not be used near food or young children.

The Necca Total products are based on a "smart" formula that eliminates 99.9 percent of bacteria for 24 hours.

The new products clean and disinfect as efficiently as bleach, but without bleach's negative effects on delicate skin or surfaces. They also lack the pungent odor of bleach and have a pleasant floral scent.

Chaim Regev, director Necca, reports that market surveys indicate that while the Israeli consumer is aware of the hazards of bacteria and the importance of disinfecting, he would prefer products that are "friendlier" than bleach. "The Necca Total products are double active: they both clean and disinfect, eliminating bacteria without the need to resort to bleach, which can adversely affect our health."

In a study conducted by the Institute for the Microbiology of Food and Consumption, Necca Total has been found to be 99.9 percent effective in the destruction of bacteria.

The new series includes a concentrated liquid for general cleaning, a spray-and-wipe cleaning, and pre-moistened cloths in a user-friendly package. The products are under the supervision of HaRav Boruch Shimon Solomon, Chief Rabbi of Petach Tikvah.
