Missionaries Distribute Material in Chareidi Neighborhoods

by Betzalel Kahn

Last week, missionaries disseminated highly destructive missionary material in English throughout Jerusalem's chareidi neighborhoods.

Residents of a number of neighborhoods told Yated Ne'eman that a group of English-speaking Christian missionaries drove into the chareidi neighborhoods in rented cars and placed their menacing propaganda in mailboxes.

A number of residents of the area tried to stop them. However, the missionaries succeeded in evading them and continued to give out the material.

Lev L'Achim warned the public to be on the alert, since Israel's Christian and missionary organizations are intensifying their activities for the year 2000, a year of significance for these groups. They recommend that anyone finding such material destroy it immediately.
