A 15 Year Old Boy Saves His Eight Brothers from a Fire in Bnei Brak
by A. Cohen

This past Monday afternoon (11 Elul ), a fifteen year old boy rescued his eight brothers from an apartment in which a fire erupted. The fire destroyed all of the contents of the house.

The fire broke out in the family's apartment on 4 Admor Migur Street in Bnei Brak. At the time of the fire, the parents were not at home, because the mother was in the hospital.

The youth, a yeshiva student who was at home to watch his brothers, quickly got all of them out the burning apartment. With siyata deShmaya, they managed to escape unharmed. The boy suffered mildly from smoke inhalation and was taken by Magen David ambulance to the Ma'ayenei Hayeshua hospital, where he was treated and released in the evening.

Since the fire consumed every last item in the apartment and left the family without even the barest essentials and without a roof over their heads, a number of communal activists have volunteered to help the family and its nine children.

At the instructions of prominent rabbonim, a special fund has been established in Bank Leumi, Achiezer Branch on 51 Rabbi Akiva Street in Bnei Brak. The account number is 21-26-21/35. The branch number of the bank is 856.

Yehudim rachamonim bnei rachamonim are called upon to rally to the aid of this unfortunate family whose home was consumed within minutes, and who have been left without clothing and without even the barest furniture. May all who assist this family merit to be inscribed in the books of tzaddikim gemurim, and may helping them be tremendous zechus in time for the forthcoming Yom Hadin.
