Tuesday the 21st of Menachem Av, marked the 42nd
yahrtzeit of the Admor of Belz, HaRav Aharon Rokach,
ztvk"l. As is the case every year, huge throngs
visited his grave on Har Hamenuchos.
Jews from all over the world arrived in Jerusalem on the eve
of the yahrtzeit and during the day, masses of Jews
from all over the country flocked to Har Hamenuchos in order
to pray at the grave, and to entreat Hashem for personal and
overall deliverance. Special memorial ceremonies and were
held in all of the Belzer botei medrash in the
world.
On Tuesday morning, the current Admor of Belz led a massive
group of Chassidim to the grave, and in the afternoon, he
held a tisch in the main study hall of the Belzer
yeshiva on Agrippa Street.
The Egged bus corporation provided the visitors with special
bus service to the grave from 6:40 a.m. until 8 p.m. There
were also special buses from Bnei Brak.
